  • Day 8- Kanha to Pench( 200 km 5 hours).

Today will be your last game drive into Kanha, after lunch, you will be moving out and driving west to Pench, your final destination for the trip.

The Kanha-Pench-Bandhavgarh corridor is a vital wildlife conservation area in Central India, connecting three renowned national parks: Kanha, Pench, and Bandhavgarh. This corridor is essential for maintaining ecological balance and ensuring the survival of species, particularly the Bengal tiger.

By providing safe passage for wildlife between these parks, the corridor facilitates genetic diversity and minimizes human-wildlife conflict. It allows tigers and other species to roam, find mates, and establish territories, which is crucial for their long-term survival.

Additionally, the corridor promotes responsible tourism and sustainable livelihoods for local communities through collaborative conservation efforts. Protecting this corridor preserves Central India’s natural heritage and contributes to global biodiversity conservation, demonstrating the importance of interconnected habitats in wildlife preservation. The Kanha-Pench-Bandhavgarh corridor illustrates how nature and communities can coexist and thrive together.

You will reach Pench after nightfall, check into your resort, and have the rest of the evening at leisure.

Your safaris will start the next day onwards.

  • Day 9&10 - Morning and evening safaris into the park

Similar to the last parks, you will be going in for back-to-back morning and evening safaris in Pench National Park.

Pench National Park, located in the heart of Central India, is renowned for its rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including Bengal tigers, leopards, Indian wolves, sloth bears, and over 200 species of birds. Its lush teak forests, open grasslands, and serene riverbanks create a captivating backdrop for wildlife viewing, making it a must-visit for nature lovers.

Pench’s breathtaking beauty and diverse ecosystems famously inspired Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. The vivid descriptions of the jungle, its wild inhabitants, and their interactions were drawn from Kipling’s impressions of the forests of Central India, particularly Pench. The park’s natural charm and vibrant wildlife provided the perfect setting for the adventures of Mowgli, Baloo, and Sher Khan. Today, visitors to Pench can experience the very jungles that sparked one of literature’s most beloved stories.

Overnight stay at the resort just outside the park boundaries.

  • Day 11- Pench-Nagpur-Delhi (3 hours+ flight time)

After the last and final early morning safari of the trip in Pench, you will have lunch and leave for Nagpur- The Tiger City and Orange City of India, which is 3 hours away by road.

From Nagpur airport, you will take the late evening flight to Delhi. On reaching the capital after almost two weeks of extreme wilderness adventures and in the company of the national animal and national pride of India, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Delhi.

    Overnight stay at Delhi.
