Itinerary

  • Day 1- Arrival in New Delhi

    Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, you will be met by one of our IWS tour guides. He will take you to your hotel, facilitate check-in and answer pre-tour queries if any. Post check-in, the rest of the day will be at leisure, and you can recover from your journey and prepare for the travels ahead!

  • Day 2- Explore Delhi

    We’ll begin the day by visiting the iconic Red Fort, a symbol of India’s rich history and architectural brilliance. Explore its majestic walls, intricate designs, and the fascinating stories behind this UNESCO World Heritage Site. After soaking in the grandeur of the fort, we’ll head into the vibrant spice lanes and bustling markets of Chandni Chowk. Here, you’ll experience the sights, sounds, and scents of old Delhi, with narrow lanes filled with colourful stalls selling everything from spices and textiles to traditional jewellery.

    Next, we’ll take a scenic drive through Lutyens’ Delhi, home to some of India’s most significant landmarks. You’ll pass by the stately India Gate, a war memorial honouring Indian soldiers, and continue the tour by viewing the grand Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House) and Prime Minister’s residence, showcasing the impressive colonial architecture of New Delhi.

    To round off the day, we’ll indulge in some lip-smacking, authentic Indian cuisine, giving you a true taste of Delhi’s vibrant culinary culture. From flavorful street food to rich curries, your palate will be treated to a variety of local delights.

  • Day 3 Delhi to Jim Corbett- ( 250 km 6 hours)

    Today your highway adventure begins! You will board the taxis early in the morning and drive up to Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve. It is a long 6-hour drive and breakfast will be done at a highway restaurant, where you can enjoy some fresh and hygienic Indian cuisines.

    Upon reaching and checking into your rooms at Jim Corbett, you will have time to relax, unpack and unwind, in the beautiful backdrop of the stunning Himalayas, and the Kosi river flowing along it. After lunch, your first safari in the Bijrani/ Jhirna/ Dhela zone would begin. For the next few hours, you’ll be in the company of the terai wilderness. After the safari, you will have the rest of the evening at leisure. You can walk around the resort, or relax by the riverside.

  • Day 4 - Exploring Dhikala Zone of Jim Corbett

    After breakfast, we’ll head towards the Dhikala Zone of Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve, renowned for its dense forests and exceptional wildlife sightings. The 32 km drive from the Dhangarhi Gate to Dhikala offers thrilling chances to spot tigers, leopards, and elephants along the way. As we drive deeper into the jungle, the scenery becomes more captivating, with lush forests and open grasslands unfolding before you. Upon arrival, you’ll check into the accommodation inside the jungle, offering safe, basic yet hygienic rooms amidst the wilderness. After settling in, we’ll head out for an evening game drive in search of the park’s magnificent wildlife.

  • Day 5- Inside Dhikala Zone

    The day will be filled with thrilling safaris in the Dhikala Zone, a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. In addition to the tigers and leopards for which the zone is famous, Dhikala is also a paradise for birdwatchers. The area is home to an incredible array of birdlife, including Crested Serpent Eagles, Changeable Hawk Eagles, Fish Eagles, Owls and numerous species of Kingfishers. Our early morning and evening game drives will take you through breathtaking landscapes, where you’ll encounter not only big cats but also herds of Asian elephants and diverse bird species.

    Between safaris, you’ll have time to relax in the serene jungle accommodation.

  • Day 6- Inside Dhikala Zone

    On your final day in Jim Corbett, we’ll head out on the last two safaris at Corbett National Park, where you’ll have the chance to spot not just the big cats and elephants but also some of the park’s other fascinating species. Keep an eye out for the elusive smooth-coated otters along the riverbanks and the agile yellow-throated martens moving through the trees.

  • Day 7- Dhikala- Dudhwa National Park ( 250 km - 7 hours)

    Today after breakfast we will check out from our jungle accommodations and begin the scenic drive back to the park gate, reflecting on the incredible wildlife experiences you’ve had in this iconic national park.

    Once outside, board an AC vehicle and drive south to Dudhwa.

    You will reach Dudhwa by late afternoon, and check in at your resort, lay back and relax after your long drive.

  • Day 8- Explore Dudhwa Tiger Reserve

    Morning and evening safaris at Dudhwa National Park

    Dudhwa Tiger Reserve is a pristine and less-travelled wildlife haven. During your safaris here, you will notice the rich and varied vegetation that defines the park, from tall grasslands to dense sal forests and lush wetlands. During your safaris, you’ll have the chance to spot tigers, swamp deer (barasingha), and an array of birdlife.

  • Day 9-Inside Dudhwa National Park

    Morning and evening safaris at Dudhwa Tiger Reserve

    Dudhwa offers a variety of ecosystems that support a wide range of wildlife. We’ll venture deeper into the park with morning and evening safaris, allowing you to encounter its magnificent inhabitants. Along with tigers, the park is home to the reintroduced one-horned rhinoceros, leopards, sloth bears, and Indian elephants. The Sathiana and Kishanpur zones, in particular, are known for their unique landscapes and abundant wildlife, providing excellent photography opportunities.

  • Day 10- Inside Dudhwa National Park

    On your final day in Dudhwa, keep an eye out for smooth-coated otters and the elusive fishing cat along the water bodies, as well as other rare species.

  • Day 11- Dudhwa- Lucknow- Delhi ( 220 km - 5.30 hours+ flight)

    After Breakfast, we will check out from Dudhwa and travel to Lucknow Airport to board a flight to Delhi.

  • Day 12- New Delhi- Onward Journey

    After Breakfast, transfer to New Delhi International Airport for onward journey.
